FALLIN – Rara Blue

Single Review

By Clare Cordell

Rara Blue is an Estonian artist based in London. Her experimental vocal-led electronic music is influenced by field recordings, EDM, hip-hop, RnB and techniques from old school, Jamaican reggae dub mixing.

Her newest track is called ‘Fallin’, and is a song about falling in love with yourself. Rara explains that “One day you will wake up and you’ll realise that the crazy hair is just like your mothers and you have your grandmothers eyes and the details you wanted to change about yourself are the reasons why the generations before you fell in love over and over again”.

I am so here for this vibe! We are all in a super powerful cosmic era which is encouraging us all to embrace authenticity and this is a great song to have playing whilst doing just that!

You can hear throughout the song how great Rara’s vocals are and the softer side of her voice really lends itself to this style of music.

This track has a really catchy beat that I can really hear the EDM influences coming through. I can picture a dark club with flashing lights dancing freely to this track and it is GREAT!
