Shannon or “Official Shannon” to you and I, hits again with another banger “higher love” which is the first single in her debut EP which will be with us towards the end of the year!
Shannon is a huge advocate for the underrepresented people in the music industry, co founding Under The Radar London who’s sole purpose is to uplift and give opportunities to female and non binary artists !
The start of the song gives me old school 80s pop vibes (so obviously I’m invested instantly) Shannon’s vocals are dynamic and powerful as always & I’m obsessed with the message she’s crafted in the lyrics!
I’ve got to say in this track the backing vocals are ON POINT! I love the call and response and the choir of voices backing Shannon throughout!
The breakdown of the bridge towards the end of the song is a personal highlight for me!
Big fan of ‘Higher Love’ and I can’t wait to hear the full EP!
